    Up for bid is a vintage match safe
    The front has Venus and Cupid in relief
    It is made from cast iron
    My guess is that it was manufactured in the 1970's
    It has a space which holds the matches and a trough to hold spent matches
    The front of the trough is "washboard" to strike the matches
    This match holder measure approximately 4" by 6 1/2"
    This match safe is in great used condition with slight wear
