    Estate sale find, vintage original travel brochure for the Restaurant Del Lago Mexico, no date, circa 1960's.
    El Lago Restaurant, in the heart of the Chapultepec Forest, began its career in 1964.
    Since then, more than 50 years have passed in the life of the restaurant, forming part of the life of residents and visitors on countless occasions.
    An iconic place El Bosque de Chapultepec, with an area equivalent to twice that of Central Park, is the privileged environment for the location of Restaurante El Lago.
    It is distinguished by its architecture, designed by the Architect Félix Candela, famous for creating structures based on the extensive use of the hyperbolic paraboloid.

    Its iconic design, subsequently renovated by the Deaf Architect Madaleno, is reflected in the waters of Lake Maggiore, which makes El Lago Restaurant an emblematic enclave in the city and unique in the world.
