    Description

    This is a very nice
    SOCONY
    oil poster from the early 1920s. I think though, it started out as a much larger piece because it has no proper borders. At the auction where I got it, there were other "posters" that looked liked they had gotten chopped down to a smaller size.  This one shows a part of a car you hardly ever see being featured in a advertising poster, The "hidden parts" of the vehicle's underside. Poster measures 24" X 18" and is mounted in a 28½" X 22½" wood frame. Yes, it does have a few sins, but it just displays so nicely.
    Will be carefully packed for its trip to its new home.
