This is the only Roger Rabbit Sericel edition ever made by Disney. Created and released in 1994. Edition size is 5000. The image shows Jessica and Roger just after they escaped the Dip trap by Judge Doom. Cel size is 11 x14 inches. Disney embossed seal in the lower right corner.
Comes with the official Disney Certificate of Authenticity.
    This is Not a sericel.
    BONUS #1:
Piece was originally issued by Disney without a background. Sericels where simply matted over a plain white mat-board background. We have gone to the extra time and expense to create a background fitting to the image. The background is a 11x14 inch, photograph with a luster finish to prevent extra glare. Image is reminiscent of the Acme Gag Factory Warehouse.
Background is NOT available separately. You want the background then you will need to buy THIS piece.
    BONUS #2:
    This sericel has been
HAND SIGNED by the voice of Jessica......... Miss Kathleen Turner.

    What is a sericel?
    A Sericel
is a serigraphy process that involves silk-screening each individual color to the cel, one at a time. Every distinct shade is a separate screen, and a separate pass in the procedure. As a result of this fine art operation, each color is flawlessly reproduced. Sericels are also created in limited quantities, typically 2500 to 5000 pieces and sometimes even 9500. Because of their larger edition size, sericels are the most affordable type of animation art, ideal for the beginning collector. The word Sericel is a contraction of Seri-graphed Cel.
