WW2 Mother Gold Star Pin

Original World War Two Gold Mother's Star Pin.  An Act of Congress in 1947 provided a Gold Star to be awarded to mothers who lost a son/daughter or husband during the War in combat.   Even today with a another Act of Congress in 1966 such a Star could be provided for any family member killed in action.   The Star has the Congress 1947 stamped on the reversed side of the pin and comes with the original box.  This is part of history which no veteran or military collector should not have as it represents what was given to maintain our Freedom.  The flag does not come with the Star.   Will not ship internationally.
