    Description

Here offered is a Vintage World War II Photo Identification Badge from Wendover Field in Utah. This original period badge bears the photo image of a young woman and the description 'Visitor'. This young lady is believed to have been a relative of an Army Air Force Serviceman stationed at the airbase known for it's extensive training program of B-17 and B-24 crews. Wendover Field was also the home of the Army Air Forces largest bombing and gunnery range.
The metal badge measures 1-3/4 inches across and with the exception of some small discoloration areas on the insert, appears to be in Pretty Nice condition. This will make a great addition to any WWII Home Front collection !(See Photos) Thank You For Looking.
