    Estate sale find, vintage original Home Front Shield of Honor Certificate notifying that a "Good Luck" message has been sent to the pilot in a North American  B-25 Army Bomber, mounted and laminated onto a wood plaque, no date, more than likely 1940's, displays nicely.
    The North American B-25 Mitchell was a medium bomber that was introduced in 1941 and named in honor of Major General William "Billy" Mitchell, a pioneer of U.S. military aviation. Used by many Allied air forces, the B-25 served in every theater of World War II.
    The overall piece is approximately 11" X 13", image area is 8" x 10", approximate shipping weight 3.5 pounds.
