    WWII Army Air Force Pocatello ID Pillow Cover 2nd Army Air Commandos CBI Emblem
    This is a WWII home front item / sweetheart gift that is a pillow cover. The item reads, " Army Air Force Pocatello Idaho" and features graphics of War planes in "V" formation and Second Air Commandos CBI emblem (China Burma India). The Pocatello base trained Second Air Force heavy bombers (B-17, B-24)....called Superbombers. The pillow case is satin type fabric with fringes and flocked or raised letters and images. The cover measurs 17 1/2" x 16" (not counting the fringe which adds 1 1/2" all around. There are some condition issues as would be expected of an item of this age. I am pointing to two spots in my photos where fabric has split. The back side is solid blue color without damage.
